yea… you know how it feels. Especially when you’re an “error processing order” away from having the tickets and going about your day.
This is how I spent Christmas morning while on vacation in Hawaii. Picked off some quick corners and just had a fun time being in the water. It got really crowded, so many thanks to all the Makaha locals for sharing their break and being super nice in the lineup.

Not much has changed other than more movies/TV shows being filmed (and the submarine from LOST is now on display). This place is still beautiful.

I would get called to come into court on the last day of my on-call jury duty week. I would get called into an actual courtroom with the first group of jurors that had to leave the waiting area. I would get put on an (estimated) 8-day-long criminal case jury as an alternate (all the work and none of the “fun”).
Given my recent string of downer events… I shouldn’t be surprised.

Pulled my Boba Fett helmet out of storage. It’s a Don Post from 1997 (still have the box and the original receipt!).
The cheap-o lens is ready to rip out, so I plan to at least do the full visor mod… but I know that’s just going to open a can of worms haha. After reading the Dented Helmet and other sites, I’m tempted to repaint the whole thing so it’s more accurate. But with the helmet comes armor, and a jet pack and… WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?!?!
This is the last hike I did before I started doing Insanity. Fryman Canyon… I didn’t like it. The decent into the canyon was miserable: dusty, direct sunlight, and all the vegetation was dead or dying. Once I got to the canyon floor, things looked a little better and I jumped around and climbed up on some downed trees. But by that time I was already disappointed with the trail and decided to head back up to my car.
I didn’t plan on the halt to hiking once I started Insanity, but the car troubles definitely kept me from heading out to new trails. I need to get back on that.
